Options and choices

Choosing your options
It's so important that you make the best choices with your options in both year 9 and at the end of year 11. In order to help you with these decisions, we've put together two sections to help guide you through the process, with advice and guidance on the courses and qualifications that might be available and the type of things you should be thinking about when choosing your options:
Don't forget, if you're not sure what level you're currently working towards then check out the section on the National Qualifications Framework, which will help explain the different levels used to group similar qualifications together.
Not sure what you qualifications you're looking for?
We know that the range of qualifications available to 14 to 19 year olds is a bit of an alphabet soup. So to help out we've produced a qualifications glossary that tells you a little bit more about each of the qualifications available and the type of learning you will do.
