Administrative matters
- Salford Community Leisure (SCL) has the power to do anything it needs to do to accomplish its objects.
- Membership ceases in certain circumstances such as death, and withdrawal. A member can also be expelled if acting in a way detrimental to SCL.
- Financial reports must be prepared, audited and published.
- Other aspects of performance can be subject to audit if the members decide this.
- Annual returns must be filed and made available if requested.
- SCL may invest, and may borrow up to £2 million.
- Members of the Board, the Chief Executive and the Secretary are indemnified by SCL against personal liability in carrying out their duties, except in cases of dishonesty or gross negligence.
- Provisions are included covering matters such as keeping minutes, seal, and keeping a register of members.
- Disputes within SCL are to be referred to arbitration.
