Support & advice

This section contains a lot of practical support and help for a variety of situations.

In the left hand menu you can find links to consumer advice, health and safety guidance, housing advice, food safety, welfare rights and debt advice services.

The Switchover Help Scheme can help you make the switch to digital TV.

They can help you convert your TV to digital if you:

  • are aged 75 or over, or
  • have lived in a care home for six months or more, or
  • get (or could get) certain disability benefits, or
  • are registered blind or partially sighted

If you're elderly or disabled you can also apply for a free TV and radio from the charity W4B, visit their website for more details.
