Annual performance assessment for adult social care
Salford's adult social services have been judged to be excellent by the Care Quality Commission.
Each year, the CQC assesses all the adult social services in the country to find out whether they are providing good services for local people. The CQC measures each council against seven outcomes, plus it looks at leadership and at commissioning and use of resources.
This year, we have again been assessed as peforming excellently.
