Salford Art Club was founded in 1948 and many famous artists have been associated with the club including LS Lowry, Harold Riley and the current club president Geoffrey Key.

The club meets at Salford Museum and Art Gallery every Wednesday evening from 5.00pm, except during Christmas and summer breaks, and welcomes new members of all levels of ability.

The programme of events includes portraits, life and still life drawing and painting as well as demonstrations and talks.

Anyone interested in joining should come along to a regular meeting. Contact the club through the website or phone the club secretary on 0161 740 6181. The Club also holds an annual exhibition at Salford Museum and Art Gallery.
