Libraries - mobile library
If you are housebound or visually impaired you can still borrow books and find information from the Library Service. We operate two specially adapted mobile library vans - one for people who are housebound and one for people who are visually impaired.

Libraries have changed dramatically in recent years - so if you haven't been to a library for a while, now is the time to find out what's on offer. You will find computers with free Internet access, a great choice of books, comprehensive information and helpful staff at all 16 libraries in Salford. Some libraries also offer a photocopying facility.

Licence to sell alcohol
