Building Control and Development Control Services

We are working hard to maintain business as usual. Site inspections with regard to all building regulations applications are going ahead where practicable.

However, some may have to be postponed due to the health and safety risks associated with the current severe weather conditions. Anyone with a query about a site inspection should contact the building control services team during office hours on 0161 909 6555 or 0161 779 8410.

Any out of hours calls relating to a dangerous building or structure should be made via the emergency switchboard on 0161 794 8888.

Development Control services

We are working hard to maintain business as usual. Due to the current adverse weather conditions specific requests for meetings to discuss planning proposals on site are suspended.

Similarly requests for the investigation of breaches of planning control will be undertaken although as part of this process site visits will be suspended.

These visits will recommence as soon as possible once the health and safety risks are deemed to be acceptable.
