Selective Licence Broughton Fees

Salford City Council, in partnership with Manchester City Council jointly commissioned an external consultant to undertake an independent assessment, in order to determine the fees to be payable for applications.

The fee levels below reflect the cost of processing an application by the Landlord Licensing team and will not result in any profit for the council.

The fees for Broughton are listed below:

• Landlords early application fee (first application) £576
• Landlords early application fee (subsequent application) £556
• Finders fee £150 *

* Additional charge to be added to fee where the local authority identify a property that requires a Selective Licence but where there has been no application submitted, the appropriate late penalty charge will also be applied.

Payment options

• Full payment upfront
• 50% upfront and 11 monthly direct debits to pay the remainder
• 25% upfront and 23 monthly direct debits to pay the remainder (this option is only available if the landlord is submitting five or more property applications together)
