Budget consultation 2011/12

Consultation on the council's budget for 2011/12 has now closed. Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete a questionnaire, go online, write to us or phone in. Your views helped the council make their decisions on the 2011/12 budget.

The council's budget and council tax level was considered at the council meeting on 2 March 2011.

There were approximately 1,300 comments received during the budget consultation exercise and a summary of the most frequent comments received on how the council can cut its spending and raise income can be obtained by request from budgetconsultation@salford.gov.uk.
