Silver for Cadishead Way site team in the 2005 Considerate Constructors Awards

On Monday 4 April members of the Cadishead Way Stage 2 site team attended the annual awards ceremony for the 2005 Considerate Constructors Awards in Harrogate. Some 18,000 projects were submitted to the scheme nationally, and the site team was delighted to hear in early November that the Cadishead Way Stage 2 scheme was short listed for an award.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme encourages firms to be sensitive to the environment in which they operate and places public health and safety as its top priority. It gives prominence to Respect for People - those working on site as well as local communities - which can result in greater productivity and better relationships. The Scheme is promoting working practices to reflect - minimising disturbance and disruption caused by noise, dust, additional traffic and pavement congestion.

See our dedidicated pages for more information about progress on the Cadishead Way development. Visit Considerate Constructors Scheme for more details about the scheme. For more information on Birse visit Birse Civils.
