Cadishead Way Stage 2 - quarterly reports

Cadishead Way Bypass opened Friday 16 September 2005 - 35 weeks ahead of schedule and well within budget.
The project commenced in February 2004 and was schedule to take 120 weeks to complete, however, due to re-sequencing of the works the Bypass will be completed within 85 weeks.
The Bypass will ease congestion by diverting traffic away from the centre of Cadishead and providing an alternative route to the A57 Liverpool Road, between Brinell Drive, Irlam and Salford’s boundary with Warrington at Glazebrook.
The photographs (link below) show some of the progress made. Quarterly updates are published to keep you informed of the progress.
Photographs
showing visible progress of the project to date are also available.
Also available is
information on the different community projects.
