Compulsory purchase of land in Salford
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford have made the “Salford City Council (212 Great Clowes Street) Compulsory Purchase Order 2005” under Section 226(a) of The Town and Country Planning Act 1990. It is about to submit this Order to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and First Secretary of State for confirmation, and if confirmed, the Order will authorise the council of the city of Salford to purchase compulsorily, the land described below, for the purposes of achieving the comprehensive development, redevelopment or improvement of the area. A copy of the Order and of the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours at the Law and Administration Division, Corporate Services Directorate, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA and Broughton Library, 400 Bury New Road, Salford M7.
Any objection to the Order must be made in writing to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and First Secretary of State, Sunley Tower, Piccadilly Plaza, Manchester, M1 4BE, before the Fifteenth day of August 2005 and should state the title of the Order, the grounds of objection, and the objectors address and interest in the land.
Description of Land
Vacant dwellinghouse 212 Great Clowes Street, Salford including the half width portions of both Great Clowes Street to the front and Cornet Street to the rear containing 906.19 square metres.
