Business planning
Salford City Council recognises that effective business planning is central to strong and effective performance management and an essential practice in an effective organisation. Our business planning framework incorporates:
- The production of a three year Corporate Plan (incorporating an annual 'refresh').
- Alignment of the council's corporate planning with the planning process for the Salford Strategic Partnership and, in particular, the Sustainable Community Strategy.
- The production of an annual Cabinet Workplan which contains the cabinet's priority actions for the current financial year.
- A corporate approach to the production of business plans at directorate, divisional and team levels.
