Cadishead Sure Start Children's Centre

Cadishead Sure Start Children's Centre is situated in the grounds of Cadishead Primary School in Cadishead.
What we offer you
The centre offers parents and children:

- Bookstart story time and play session
- breastfeeding support

- midwife clinic
- movers and shakers
- parenting courses
- stay and play
- sure swim session
- yoga
We also offer activities in venues around the local area such as Cadishead Library, Irlam Pool and Cadishead Fit City.
The centre
The centre has a community room, which is used for meetings and play sessions and has cooking facilities. A training room, which can hold up to 15 people. A Crèche, which is a dedicated play room with an outdoor play area, and a health room, which is used for private consultations and small meetings. Outside there is a newly refurbished sensory garden.
The team
Families get help, support and advice from our dedicated team, which is comprised of children's centre workers, a midwife, health visitors, Jobcentre Plus, and the health improvement team.
What's new
Baby massage session.Suitable from birth. Now every Wednesday from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
Events
Come along to our free playday in Cadishead Park on Wednesday 4 August 1.00pm to 3.00pm. Mini-assault course, archery, adventure play, team games, face painting and races.
Teddy Bears Picnic on Friday 20 August 11.00am to 1.00pm. Healthy picnic with outdoor games and activities. Free event. Don't forget your bear!
