Carers' allowance

Members who care for children aged 15 years and under or other dependents requiring care in the absence of the Member on council business, can claim £7.00 per hour. Payment will only be made on production of invoices from registered providers of care services and not from family members.

Members should take into account the times when childcare facilities are likely to be available when setting the times of meetings.
