Child protection conferences
Keeping children safe is everyone's responsibility and we have a legal duty to do this. A child protection conference is a serious meeting and the aim is to consider the concerns and risks that exist about the care of a child, as well as a family's strengths.
A case conference is a multi-agency meeting where professionals need to be clear about what these risks may be and then consider together what needs to be done to ensure a child(ren) is safe and for their welfare to be promoted.
