Life for a Life memorial forest

Located in Clowes Park, the Life for a Life memorial forest opened in 2016 with the purpose of memorial tree planting.

As you enter the memorial forest you are greeted by a windfall orchard that is made up of a selection of apple trees. The orchard was planted by local schools in conjunction with Manchester City of Trees as part of their 'trees for learning' programme.

A Memorial Stone was installed by Life for Life in celebration of Broughton House Home for Ex-service Personal's centenary. The home is just 250 metres away from the memorial forest and continues to serve Greater Manchester's veterans.
