Alternative options consultation

Through the core strategy issues and options consultation, a number of individuals and organisations suggested their own 'alternative options' for how the city should develop. An alternative options report was published for consultation in April 2009, inviting people to make comments on these ‘alternative options’ that had been put forward. It is important to note that the options published in the core strategy alternative options report were suggested by other individuals/organisations and not the city council.

Printed copies of the alternative options report are available to purchase at a cost of £5 each. To order a copy of any of the alternative options report, please email us or send a cheque or postal order, crossed and marked 'Account Payee' and made payable to 'Salford City Council' (contact details below).

Correction: please note that the representations summarised in entry D2 on page 14 of the alternative options report should relate to the southern element of the Weaste and Seedley Ward, and not Claremont and Weaste as stated.
