Over 250 authorised content authors and approvers from individual service areas across the city council are responsible for the maintenance and development of discrete information collections. Each directorate has a principal content champion. Each author, approver or content champion contributes to the development of the website as an adjunct to other job responsibilities.
All contributors to the site are expected to follow a set of published web standards.
Other officers are involved in supporting the day-to-day running of the website infrastructure and provision of online services, including officers from ICT Services, Customer Services and Legal plus the extensive network of authors and content approvers around the council as described above.
