Urban Vision sponsor winning North West football team

Next Step Girls winning team

Urban Vision were approached by Next Step to sponsor a local boys and girls football team for a new team kit prior to the North West annual football tournament organised by the North West After Care Forum.

The tournament involved 22 local authority leaving care projects 5-a-side teams from all over the North West, with trophies for the winning girls and boys events. This year's event was held at Medlock Leisure Centre in Droylsen on Friday 29 July 2005.

Salford's girls team did a sterling job and after winning all their mini league games to secure a place in the knockouts, their winning streak carried on through to the finals to win the tournament. I'm sure that this was down to the skill of the girls and not just the new strip.

The boys played well but were sadly knocked out of the league, better luck next time lads.
