The Lead Member for Children and Youth is Councillor John Warmisham.

The lead member for children and youth is responsible for liaising with other members of the Cabinet on all aspects of services affecting children and young people, particularly where matters within this portfolio affect other aspects of council business or have a citywide impact.

The lead member is responsible for ensuring appropriate consultation with partners and the community on matters within this portfolio.
