Stage 2 consultation
Stage 2 of the consultation process was a public meeting held at the Civic Centre, Swinton in January 2008. The meeting was attended by 20 members of the public and 13 councillors including a panel representing the three political parties who responded to questions raised by the public.
A report on the issues raised at the public meeting was considered at the Budget Scrutiny Committee in January 2008. These issues were included in our formal budget report and used to develop the council’s budget and inform the overall medium term budget strategy.
Further details of the results are on the budget consultation website including issues raised and directorate responses or alternatively please email budgetconsultation@salford.gov.uk.
