Budget Consultation for 2004/05
Each autumn the city council begins to plan its budget for the following financial year.
- Do you know where the money comes from?
- Do you know how we make decisions?
- Do you run a mile when people mention budgets?
Salford City Council undertook budget consultation events for the 2004/05 financial year between November 2003 and January 2004.
Issues raised during this process were sent to relevant senior officers in the city council for their response. A report detailing issues raised during the consultation period is available to download here (Word document, 53 pages).
The document includes graphs and comments received from a youth consultation questionnaire that was issued via youth clubs across the city and comments taken from feedback sheets completed during the consultation events.
If you wish to make any comments about the council's budget consultation process, including any ideas about how it could be improved in future years, or if you have any questions in relation to the report please email budgetconsultation@salford.gov.uk.
