Local Authority Purchasing Partnership
The Local Authority Purchasing Partnership (LAPP) is a consortia of local authorities that have banded together to negotiate contracts for supplies and services.
The member councils are:
- Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council
- Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council
- Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council
- Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council
- Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council
- Warrington Metropolitan Borough Council
- Salford City Council
- Greater Manchester Police
- Greater Manchester Fire and Civil Defence Authority
The LAPP produce an annual catalogue which is available to all buyers within the member councils. A tender exercise is conducted for each contract. Depending on the value of the tender this will be advertised in Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) or local press (Salford Advertiser and the Manchester Evening News) and local trade journals.
