Becoming a council supplier
The council operates a fair and open competition by following transparent and auditable procedures in all tendering and contracting activity and aims to provide a wide range of businesses with a variety of commercial opportunities.
If you require further information relating to the council’s processes and procedures or details of forthcoming quotation/tenders, these can be obtained by contacting the purchasing team. If you would like to be considered as a potential contractor you can email procurement@salford.gov.uk.
We will be pleased to supply you with a copy of our procurement strategy or contractual standing orders upon request.
An expression of interest form is currently being redesigned, when the redesign is complete the form is intended as a way of introducing yourself to the council only and does not replace the need to tender or to request tender documentation. Information provided in this form will be valid for a period of 3 months. Any information that is more than 3 months old will be automatically deleted.
