Join us at the Salford Garden Party - there's something for everyone!

Once again, and by public acclaim, we are organising the Salford Garden Party and inviting everyone to join us.
This year’s Garden Party promises to be even bigger and better than last year's, with more activities, more stands and more fun for the whole family! See the timetable of activities.
As in previous years, entry is free for all.
So many things to do, so little time…at the Salford garden Party you will be spoilt for choice. This is just a selection of the activities you will be able to enjoy:
- Live music
- Arts and craft workshops
- Breakdancing
- Sports day
- Heritage bingo
- Birds of prey
- Prize draws and competitions
- Face painters
- Salford Big Ask: your chance to put your questions to your elected members
- Bag Amnesty: bring 2 plastics bags and you will receive a bag for life that you can use again and again
- Games
- Art exhibitions
- Obedience display by police dogs
- Children's entertainers
- Taster sports sessions
- Tea dance
- Poetry readings
- Hot dogs competition: enter your dog and win prizes! There will be rosettes and a lot of fun!
- Barbecue and delicious cakes *
- A chance to meet your councillors and MPs
And of course, tons of interesting information on council and other public services, and ideas on how to make the most of the place where you live.
