Scrutiny
The role of Overview and Scrutiny is to look at the services and issues that affect the lives of people in Salford.
It's about listening to the concerns of local people and to check how the council and other organisations are performing and where necessary seek improvement.

| Respect Agenda Commission | respectagendacommission | The draft parenting report was presented to Cabinet on 24 March 2009. All the recommendations within the report were accepted and it was agreed that an action plan would be produced stating how they would be implemented. |
Once the action plan is completed it will be presented to members of the Commission group and the two relevant scrutiny committees (Children, Young People & Families and Sustainable Regeneration ) for information and will be monitored accordingly on an ongoing basis. |
