Salford DAAT has commissioned various work in recent years which has resulted in the production of various media, by service users and members of local communities.
This work has included high impact photos and posters and a range of short films and plays. In addition, young people from local schools have performed and recorded their own music. Here we showcase two of the films that DAAT have commissioned:
Naloxone distribution to drug users and those living and/or working with them has the potential to significantly reduce overdose deaths. This film is essential viewing for anyone who may have to give Naloxone.
The film is designed for former and current drug injectors to inform them about the virus and to encourage them to get tested. This film was produced in conjunction with the Greater Manchester Health Protection Agency and was officially launched at the Salford Arts Theatre on 22 May 2010.
