LAMDA

The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) exams are now available to pupils and students from 6-21 years. The examinations are now accredited by the QCA.

Tuition for the LAMDA exams takes place in schools and within the Youth Theatre Groups. A minimum of six tuition sessions are required lasting 20 minutes each. The exams are held at several times throughout the year.

We offer a range of LAMDA exams. The speaking of verse and prose, the acting examination solo or duo, reading for performance, speaking in public, improvisation and musical theatre. Candidates are required to memorise appropriate pieces of text/verse, topic or songs to perform in front of a moderator on the day of the exam. Candidates will be awarded their certificates 4 - 6 weeks after the examination.
