Having difficulties with lots of things
You may need some help from a health or social care worker, if you are having lots of difficulties. If you think equipment will help you, visit the individual pages for information and advice.
What you can do for yourself?
First of all, you should contact your GP
You may have a medical condition that has been undiagnosed and is only gradually causing you problems in looking after yourself.
If your difficulties have suddenly come, you may have an infection - see your GP as soon as possible. Something as treatable as a chest or urine infection can cause confusion and make it difficult for you to look after yourself.
If you do not have a medical condition or you don't feel that equipment is the solution or you do not know what to do, contact us for advice.
How can we help?
Use the online enquiry form, email, phone, minicom or fax.
Once you have contacted us, we may advise you over the phone, or arrange to come and see you to find out more about the things you are finding difficult - this is called an assessment.
If we agree that you need some support, we will discuss the options with you.
Will it cost anything?
Our advice and assessment are free, as are most pieces of equipment which we can loan you. However, you will have to pay something for other services you get. How much depends on who is arranging your services, what services you are using and how much money you have.
