Eatz4U

We are fully committed to providing our students with the healthiest, most nutritional foods available, to help support the whole school approach and ensure that every child in Salford receives a well-balanced meal during school hours.

This is why we aim to inspire children about food and get them thinking about eating well during their formative years, to assist in building a new attitude toward good food.

To help us achieve these goals, we have recently launched the Eatz4U  initiative, in partnership with Unilever, in primary and secondary schools across Salford.

Eatz4U provides nutritional, culinary and marketing expertise to school and catering staff, with front-of-house theatre used to inspire and educate children about food. To assist with meeting nutritional standards, we have also developed a great variety of simple, easy to follow recipes in line with the School Food Regulations.

Eatz4U will assist us to achieve the new nutrient standards outlined by the Government and to ensure your child is receiving the most healthy and nutritional food during the school day that we can offer.
