Eccles Recreation Ground

Eccles Recreation Ground or ‘Eccles Rec' as it is known locally, is an attractive and popular park located on Oxford Street in Eccles.

The park provides a number of great facilities for people of all ages to enjoy including bowling greens, football pitches, a multi-use games area, French boules and a children's play area for 4 to 14 year olds.

Improvements to the tennis courts including resurfacing are planned for 2012. 

The Friends of Eccles Recreation Ground are also actively involved in the management of the park.
