Learning Mentors
Learning Mentors work in primary or secondary schools and usually work with young people or children on a one-to-one or small group basis.
Increasingly, Learning Mentors are becoming recognised as key workers. Learning Mentors are established as part of the Children's Workforce Development Council.
Due to the success of Learning Mentors they are increasingly being employed in schools where they have been able to identify different sources of funding as well as by FE colleges to carry out a similar role.
