Ellesmere Park Supplementary Planning Document

The Ellesmere Park Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) was adopted on 15 November 2006.
The purpose of this document is to provide detailed design guidance to inform new developments in the Ellesmere Park area. It has been prepared to ensure that:
- the character and environment of Ellesmere Park, and its individual buildings and streets, is protected and enhanced;
- new development in Ellesmere Park is designed and built to the highest standard; and
- residents, property owners, designers and developers are clear about what the city council will expect from new developments in the area.
Printed copies of the SPD are also available to view at:
- Broadwalk, Eccles, Irlam, Swinton and Walkden Libraries; and
- Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford.(Opening times: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm).
If you would like to purchase a printed copy of the Ellesmere Park SPD it is available at a cost of £7.00 each including packaging and postage. To order a copy, please email plans.consultation@salford.gov.uk or send a cheque or postal order, crossed and marked 'Account Payee' and made payable to Salford City Council, to the address at the bottom of the page.
