Outside normal office hours (including weekends and bank holidays) please call 0161 794 8888 (Minicom 0161 793 3303) or email emergency.services@salford.gov.uk.

All calls to this telephone number are recorded for security purposes. A call queuing system is in operation - when you get a ringing tone, please stay on the line - your call WILL be answered.

What happens in a major civil emergency?

Salford City Council has a major incident plan which sets out how the city council would deal with a major emergency in partnership with local emergency services such as police, ambulance, the Environment Agency, etc.
