Emmaus

The Emmaus charity offers an alternative approach to homelessness.
They offer:
- A home within a supportive community environment
- The opportunity to work within a successful social enterprise
- The chance for homeless people to regain their dignity and self respect
Salford City Council's Urban Renewal Development Team has been working with Emmaus, to help them establish one of their communities in Salford, which will enable people to move on from homelessness, providing work and a home in a supportive, safe and family environment.
