Reducing the number of children living in poverty is a top priority for Salford's Sure Start Children's Centres.
Your not alone on you’re your journey into employment. Salford’s Sure Start Children’s Centres can help you develop the skills and confidence you’ll need to search and apply for jobs, prepare for interviews, and start work. We understand that everyone is at a different stage in their journey into employment. Some are ready to start and need help with childcare, while others are taking their first steps into the job market.
The centres are working closely with partners from the Family Information Service, Skills and Work, Jobcentre Plus, and Family learning, all of whose advisors attend sessions in centres. Together we can help you by building your confidence and giving you advice on applying for jobs, writing CVs and attending interviews as well helping you overcome the barriers that prevent you from working.
