Care & health
If you need some extra care and support, we have a range of services, advice and activities that can help.
Use the links on the left and below to find out about services that may be available.
You can also use our online enquiry form or contact one of our social work teams.
Do not use the form in an emergency, in an emergency during office hours you should contact one of the social work teams at other times contact the emergency duty team.
If you are worried that someone is in immediate danger of being abused call 999. Further information is available about safeguarding vulnerable adults.
There are plenty of activities and things to do across the city and we are working all the time to make it easier for you to take part. You might want to join a reading group at your local library, use the gym at a Fit City centre, become a volunteer or get invovled in your local community.
