Staying safe online consultation

We're working on an e-safety strategy and action plan to help keep adults, children and young people safe when using the internet. To do this effectively we want to hear your views about using the internet.

The consultation has now closed. All the responses are being assessed and the results will be published at the start of May.

Stage 1 of the consultation

We want individuals to let us know their views by completing our online form or via other channels like Twitter and Facebook.

Also all services and partners across Salford are being asked to use their existing groups or networks to discuss and get feedback on three questions. The method of discussion and feedback is up to the facilitators. However the facilitators will be asked to give and share their feedback with us by completing our online form or downloading and completing the form at the bottom of this page.

Stage 2 of the consultation

The second stage of the consultation process will be from May to June 2012. Facilitators will be asked to re-engage their groups in a workshop environment to discuss the outcomes and to look at next steps.

It is hoped that with all the feedback we've received we'll create a ‘charter' that highlights values and positive behaviours, rights and responsibilities.
