Fairtrade steering group

A Salford Fairtrade steering group was set up in 2003, chaired by Councillor Jim King. In October 2003, Salford City Council officially backed the Salford Fairtrade campaign.
Salford's Fairtrade steering group is backed and supported by a number of local and national organisations. It includes representatives from:
- Cafod
- Salford City Council
- Christian Aid
- Oxfam

- The Co-operative Group
- Local businesses
- Members of the public
Membership is open to any interested individual or business, just contact us if you want to get involved!
