Fit City Broughton has a large sports hall that can accommodate a wide variety of sports and special events. There is one squash court and facilities for table tennis. A fully equipped boxing gym with a thriving junior section is located at this centre.
A special feature of Fit City Broughton is the 18 metre climbing wall, training cellar and campus board that provides indoor practice facilities for climbers of all abilities whatever the weather. Fit City Broughton Centre now hosts several Roller Hockey teams. In additon to training, regular competitions take place.
Broughton D@TAbase is situated in Fit City Broughton Centre and provides learning opportunities for local people, whether they are absolute beginners or wish to obtain qualifications. The learning is centred around ICT and Skills for Life. It is an accredited ECDL Centre and has a flexible learning approach for everyone.
Members can use Internet and printing facilities free of charge. Groups and organisations can hire the computer suite and meeting room, which is equipped with presentation equipment.
