Following a £1 million refurbishment we would like to welcome you back to a new and improved Fit City Broughton Pool.
What's been happening?
- Easier access to the facility. Its new ground floor location will enable improved access for all including wheelchair access
- Internal lift enabling improved accessibility
- Improved water quality, lighting and efficiency of the facility
- Our fantastic fitness suite features 44 pieces of the latest technology equipment including individual television screens on the CV pieces
Fit City Broughton Pool boasts a health and fitness suite containing the very best in resistance and cardio-vascular exercise equipment. The suite is managed by experienced and qualified staff to help you create a healthier lifestyle. There is also a sauna available for relaxation.
The fitness suite is open:

A 25m swimming pool and separate teaching pool host many local and regional competitions throughout the year. In addition, there is a full programme of adult and children's swimming lessons. Salford Swim Squad have most of their training sessions based here and the pool also hosts other aquatic clubs and organisations.
Fit City Broughton Pool is also used as a training venue for National Pool Lifeguard and Swimming Teacher courses.
