This facility is located adjacent to the newly developed Salford Quays area, minutes away from the Lowry Centre, Watersports Centre and the Lowry Outlet Shopping Mall.
It is a dry sports facility comprising of a large sports hall which is suitable for a wide range of sporting activities. This centre has benefited from a recent refurbishment including upgraded changing facilities.
Fit City Ordsall provides a focus for young people in the community through an exciting new ‘Tumble Jungle’ children’s activity area.
The local ‘SAYO’ [Sports and Arts for Youths in Ordsall] youth project is also based at this facility creating further leisure opportunities for the local community.
Fit City Ordsall is the new home of Salford Gymnastics Club. Relocated from North Salford sessions are run for pre school (Fit City Tots) through to squad level.
There is also a purpose built indoor bowls hall which hosts a popular winter league and is also available for public hire.
Adjacent to the Fit City Ordsall is a full size synthetic pitch suitable for both soccer and hockey.
