Close to the centre of Swinton, Fit City Pendlebury has a 25m swimming pool which offers a wide range of aquatic activities from public swimming to swimming lessons for all ages and abilities. For the competitive swimmer, Swinton Swimming Club is based at this centre.
The swimming pool is an ideal venue for people with disabilities. There is a regular weekly session for this group, and the pool includes a hoist. It is also served by purpose built changing, toilet and showering facilities, all with easy access.
Pool parties are very popular as are the ’Splash’ sessions (mats & floats) for children. We have recently purchased a large bouncy castle to make our party bookings more enjoyable.
In the sports hall a recently introduced soccer coaching session is open to all children to improve their skills and confidence. The sports hall programme also includes very popular Circuit Training and Boxercise classes.
The aspire @ health and fitness suite contains the highest specification of Life Fitness resistance and cardio-vascular equipment.

Fitness suite opening times:
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday : 7.00am - 10.00pm
- Tuesday and Thursday: 8.00am - 10.00pm
- Saturday: 8.00am - 7.00pm
- Sunday: 8.30am - 6.00pm
