Salford flood bus

Further information on flooding is available from the Environment Agency.

Or from Salford City Council’s Emergency Planning Unit on 0161 793 3439.

Flooding is a risk that we have to take seriously. Preparation is the best form of defence.

Salford’s flood bus is visiting your area to give you practical information and advice on protecting your business, property and family.

What’s it all about?

8,000 business and homes are at risk of flooding in Lower Broughton, Lower Kersal and Charlestown.

The Salford flood bus has been organised by Salford City Council and the Environment Agency to bring expert advice to your doorstep.

As well as first-hand advice on how you can protect your business, property and family, there will be an opportunity to sign up for the free Flood Warning Advice Service.

Where and when?

Currently, there are no planned visits of the Flood Bus.
