Rag Rugging craft workshop
Learn how to make rug samples so that you learn the techniques involved to make your own full sized rug. If you enjoy ripping up fabric and creating something new from scrap then you will enjoy this craft. This is an excellent way of using up old fabrics, so start sorting out and choosing some lovely colours, that you might like to use in your rug sample. Find out what equipment is needed and how to prepare the materials for rag rugging.
What to bring: You will be supplied with some fabric but bring along some of your own. Medium-weight cotton, polyester and t-shirt fabrics work very well. Your fabric should be washed. You may like to take notes during the workshop so bring a note book and a camera to record the process.
