Ghost game

Ordsall Hall friendly phantom ghost game

This is a fun interactive game aimed at children aged five years and above.

In the game, you'll meet four friendly phantoms:

Sir John Radclyffe
Sir John fought many wars in France and was rewarded for his efforts with the fine house of Ordsall Hall. Sir John died in 1362. Today he floats about looking for a ladies bottom to pinch, so look behind you!

Lady Margaret Radclyffe
Lady Margaret was Queen Elizabeth I's favourite lady in waiting and always wore beautiful dresses fit for the royal court. In 1599 Lady Margaret died of a broken heart after the death of her twin brother. Nowadays, she is said to haunt Ordsall Hall.

Thomas
Thomas was at the hall when Queen Victoria was on the throne. He worked near by at Howarth's Cotton Mill on Ordsall Lane. It was hard work and not much fun.

Emily
Emily likes nothing more than running up and down the stairs in the Great Hall and hiding from boring grown ups!

How to play
To catch the ghosts all you have to do is click on them when they appear on the screen. After 30 seconds the number of ghosts will be counted and you will go to the next level. You have to be quick or you may miss one!
