Markendale meeting room

Thank you for choosing Ordsall Hall as a destination for your meeting. The hall is a beautiful Grade 1 listed, 600 year old building that has recently undergone a full renovation.

If you are looking for a venue that's a little different but has great facilities and is close to Manchester city centre and Salford Quays then Ordsall Hall is the place for you.

Facilities

We have two meeting rooms available to hire:

The Markendale Room is in the East wing, one of the oldest parts of the building. This intimate, formal room can accommodate up to ten people. This peaceful room has a great mix of the old and new and has splendid views out across the new Timeline walkway in the garden.
The Radclyffe Room was built in 1639 and has recently been stripped of layers and layers of paint to expose the original brickwork. The room can be laid out in a number of formations and is equipped with a screen that can be used as an interactive whiteboard for presentations.

Room capacities

Markendale room - Maximum of 10 boardroom style
Radclyffe room - Maximum of 20 boardroom or horseshoe style, maximum of 35 theatre style, maximum of 30 workshop style

Room hire charges

£45.00 (inclusive of VAT) for a morning or afternoon (maximum of three hour hire)
£80.00 (inclusive of VAT) full day hire (for any hire period over three hours)
Prices include use of projector, laptop and flipchart if requested

Availability

The meeting rooms at the hall are for hire from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Please contact us for details of availability and costs.

Parking

The hall's car park is 100 metres from the entrance. We have 49 spaces (including five spaces for blue badge holders). Parking is free for delegates - permits issued at reception on day of meeting.

Tours of the hall

Short, informal tours for up to 20 people can be arranged (subject to availability) for before or after your meeting (or during your break for lunch). Please let us know if you would like us to arrange a tour.

Wheelchair access

Both our meeting rooms are fully accessible.

Catering and refreshments

Tea, coffee and water - £2.00 per person per serving (inclusive of VAT)
Tea, coffee, water and biscuits - £2.50 per person per serving (inclusive of VAT)

A range of buffets from £7.00 to £12.00 per person are available (not including drinks). Please ask us for a copy of the buffet and drinks menu. Please note that all catering and refreshments must be supplied by the hall.
