Children's centres promote the health and well being of babies and young children so that they can flourish at home and when they get to school.

At Higher Broughton Children's Centre, we offer a range of regular activities as well as one-off special events. These are planned with and provided by the children's centre worker team.

In July 2011, Higher Broughton Children's Centre moved into the Broughton Hub, a new purpose-built community building next door to the old site, along with the local library, youth centre and trampolining centre. Higher Broughton Children's Centre is also part of the Broughton cluster of children's centres along with the Hershel Weiss centre and the Lower Broughton centre.

The programme of activities in the three centres is co-ordinated by the children's centre cluster manager so that there are opportunities for families across Broughton to access an increased range of services. The services provided at all the centres in the cluster will be of the same high quality and all families will be guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome.
