We work closely with "Learning in Broughton" to support parents who would like to get back into learning. The children's centre can give up to date information about learning opportunities and can help with childcare costs for some courses. Courses that we have provided through the centre include:

  • Food Hygiene - A one day certificated course for parents
  • Money Matters - A two day family finance course to help with budgeting and managing your money
  • Emergency First Aid - A one day course for parents

Home safety

We can offer all families a home safety check and advice with free safety equipment for anyone on a low income. Contact the centre to find out if you are eligible.
